What’s Working in Social Enterprise

Neli Vazquez Rowland, president and co-founder of A Safe Haven will join Marc J. Lane, Chair of Social Enterprise Alliance-Chicago, and Eric Weinheimer, president and CEO of Donors Forum in a panel discussion entitled “What’s Working in Social Enterprise”, at the UChicago Local Workforce Conference on August 22, 2014 at the Embassy Suites, 511 North Columbus Drive in Chicago. The all day conference begins at 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The sessions will discuss innovative approaches to workforce and their outcomes. Come hear what is working across the nation in cooperative models, foundations, social enterprises, training programs, and workforce collaboratives.

The UChicago Local Workforce Conference, hosted by the Office of Civic Engagement, is designed for frontline workforce practitioners. It will be a day of learning, examination, and collaboration sessions dedicated to the discussion of the current workforce landscape and national trends that connect to our work in Chicago.
