Run to End Homelessness

A Safe Haven is proud to partner once again with the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! Join A Safe Haven’s charity team and run to end homelessness in our community.

Team Run To End Homelessness will commit to raising funds to help provide transitional housing and food to people in crisis in the Chicagoland area. Fundraising also invests in programs that address the root cause of homelessness.

A Safe Haven Foundation runners will receive:

  • A Safe Haven-branded running shirt
  • Access to online fundraising support with your customized web page

If you join A Safe Haven’s charity team before the Chicago Marathon drawing on November 17, 2022, you will be committing to raise a minimum of $1,250 for A Safe Haven. After the drawing and beginning December 8th,  those joining A Safe Haven’s charity team will commit to raising a minimum of $1,750 for A Safe Haven. 60% of your fundraising minimum must be submitted to A Safe Haven by September 30, 2023, or your runner’s bib will be subject to hold/forfeiture.

If you secured your entry for the 2023 Chicago Marathon as a Drawing Winner, Legacy Finisher, or Time Qualifier and would like to make your marathon more meaningful, A Safe Haven would greatly appreciate your support. If you join A Safe Haven’s charity team and raise a minimum of $500, you will receive an A Safe Haven-branded running shirt.

Note that the Chicago Marathon set the fundraising minimums and cannot be changed or lowered for any reason. Also, note that the Chicago Marathon does not allow transfers of Charity entries for any reason.
