“We admire the work that Neli Vazquez Rowland, and her team at A Safe Haven Foundation are doing. They are truly influencing a paradigm shift that is focused on successfully solving homelessness for thousands of people a year. As we recognized some of the most influential visionaries and professionals in the real estate industry, we thought it was very important and appropriate to honor her as a co-founder and her team at A Safe Haven for their vision, model and their private partnership approach to ending homelessness. As real estate professionals we recognize that addressing homelessness is a vital consideration in urban growth and planning. Miami is an Amazing City, but if we as stakeholders do not address our social ills, we are destined to live with them.” Said Evelio Medina, Founder and Chair of Miami Bricknell Chamber of Commerce.

The symposium attracts the brightest and most experienced real estate minds from the western hemisphere, where they convene, learn and interact with real estate professionals, from academia to real world experts.

“It was truly humbling to be recognized by some of Miami and International Real Estate industry Titans, for our phased affordable housing and comprehensive services to vulnerable populations in Chicago. Thank you for this AMAZING Award and the honor to have participated on the panel with Bricknell Miami Mayor Vallejo to discuss Private Public Partnerships, addressing Advocacy, Green and Poverty issues with sustainable solutions”, stated Neli Vazquez Rowland, President and Co-Founder of A Safe Haven Foundation.
