A Safe Haven is Proud to Announce 2015 Music Revolution! To End Homelessness Artists

 

Chicago, IL – June 17, 2015 – Today A Safe Haven Foundation hosted a press conference to announce the artist line-up for the 2015 Music Revolution to End Homelessness on Sunday, July 12. Race registration and music will begin at 6:30 am at Chicago’s Douglas Park, located at 1225 S. California Ave. The concert and FUN RUN for kids (pre-registration required) are both free to the public.

Dozens of emerging artists from across Chicagoland were recommended by the event Co-Chair, Lynn Orman , Orman Media Group and Chicago leading music producers, Gus Redmond of MusicQuest and Jerry Williams of Wil’da Records to participate in A Safe Haven’s 5th Annual Music Revolution to End Homelessness. The artists underwent an extensive review process and were selected for their talent, commitment to working as advocates to end poverty and homelessness, and for the positive messages delivered through their music.

The 2015 Music Revolution will showcase headliners and emerging artists alike. The performance line-up features Chicago Artists: Laura Bretan; Forever Undefined; Jessica Love; Michele McGuire; and Uncle Butchies Live House featuring Lavesh, with Emcee: Xochi; and DJ: Oliver “Fade” Torres.

 A Safe Haven Foundation President and Co-Founder Neli Vazquez-Rowland said, “It is inspiring to see Chicago artists from all genres come together to help end homelessness in our own backyard. Through their incredible talent that are truly bringing a voice to poverty and homelessness and are helping us to jumpstart a Music Revolution and make a difference in our community.”
