May 9, 2014, Chicago, IL – Neli Vazquez Rowland, co-founder and president of A Safe Haven Foundation, is scheduled to present at the Social Innovation Conference at the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration, Student Government Association. Expert panelists and breakout sessions will feature successful innovators, change agents from nonprofit and social enterprises, and thought leaders from academia, philanthropy, consulting and technology sectors.
The Conference will provide an interactive forum for innovative strategies and approaches to be presented, explored and developed, and opportunities throughout the day for networking. Attendees will gain insights about encouraging innovation and implementing change. Lessons learned will cover both successes and disappointments. Panelists and attendees will explore together ideas for improving organizational effectiveness and social impacts. The Conference is open to the public, free of charge, and lunch will be provided.
