The gift was presented as thanks for A Safe Haven’s role in transforming their lives.
“It was an indescribable honor to receive such a generous gift from the Hovey’s. While each person who comes through our doors brings with them a unique story and background, it is our goal that each person leave A Safe Haven with the same upward trajectory as the Hoveys. We’re so proud of their success and are humbled to have had such a profound impact on their lives. I’m so grateful to The Steve Harvey Show for recognizing the importance of this story and for serving as a flashlight on A Safe Haven’s comprehensive approach to solving poverty, on the stories of real people who have overcome challenges and on the importance of helping all people in crisis become self-sufficient and empowered to pursue their dreams,” said A Safe Haven President and Co-Founder, Neli Vazquez Rowland.
