OVERVIEW OF INSTRUCTOR FUNCTION
YEP Instructors are responsible for delivering 40 hours of youth employment training that will assist CVPP youth to obtain and maintain unsubsidized employment. Their primary responsibility is to conduct trainings that will facilitate youth’s job readiness and to achieve job retention.

OVERVIEW OF MENTOR FUNCTION
Mentors will provide mentoring to youth hired through the Youth Employment Program. Mentors will create sustained relationships with youth for the duration of the program. Youth and Mentors will jointly engage in periodic, culturally relevant community outreach activities during implementation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES – INSTRUCTOR
YEP Instructors will conduct youth training workshops to help achieve CVPP-established job readiness and retention goals. Instructors, working in conjunction with Mentors and YEP Managers, will help guarantee all YEP youth comply with CVPP-required training participation.
