Possible fulltime employment in fall.

Duties:

Perform edits to contracts and other template documents in accordance with instruction.

Provide general office support, including but not limited to scanning, copying, faxing and printing.

Establishes and maintains project paper and electronic filing systems, as well as project file index.

Maintains calendar and contact database, schedules appointments with contractors and consultants. Coordinates reproduction and delivery of construction documents. Types, formats, and produces documents such as requests for qualifications and proposals, presentations, correspondence, change orders, standard business documents and related project controls. Assists in preparation and note taking in weekly project field meetings. Interface with contractors and consultants. Assist with developing and monitoring in-house energy efficiency projects and programs with utilities. Assists with tracking renovations across portfolio property. Enters and tracks maintenance work orders. Performs other duties as assigned by Project Manager and/or Property Management Team. Position could lead to a full time Project Engineer position on ground up new construction/renovation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Working toward/has a degree in construction management, finance or business administration.

Required Skills:

Intermediate to advanced computer skills, financial management and reporting writing skills. MS Office suite, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project would be valuable as well. High level of organizational and time management skills are required.

Other Skills:

In addition to education and any previous experience, there are a number of personal attributes among these include the ability to multitask, attention to detail, self-motivation, communication skills. The ability to work as a team in a diverse environment and willingness to take initiative with little oversite.  Driver’s license and transportation required.  Ability to perform duties, climbing, leaning, bending, may work in adverse weather and site conditions. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
