“Sunday is an exciting day for everyone involved in the 5K RUN!, Music Revolution, and Veteran Stand Down, hosting a 5k RUN/Walk in Douglas Park in Chicago is so on message for us as we seek to transform lives and communities from ‘ground zero’. I am overwhelmed this year to see the record number of people and teams signing up to participate in many, many ways. Every year our neighbors in the community are inspired to see this event grow and to witness the support and concern for their community and to see the real and measurable difference we can make through our collective efforts.” said Neli Vazquez Rowland, President.
